Definition
DX: The first letter D stands for flat steel for cold forming, and the second letter X stands for the rolled state of the unspecified base material.
51~57: The numbers indicate the steel grade number; the D after the two digits is the code for hot-dip galvanizing. Z means the coating is pure zinc, ZF means galvanized iron alloy, AZ means galvanized.
Alloy high-grade steel DX53D (deep-drawn quality) is available in the following hot-dip coatings: DX53D+Z (galvanized), DX53D+ZF (galvanized-iron), DX53D+ZA (galvanized-aluminum), DX53D+AZ (aluminum-coated) Zinc), DX53D+AS (aluminum-silicon).
Advantages of DX53D
Generally, the substrate of DC30 or DC40 is used, which has a higher elongation rate and better stamping and ductility. It can be deep drawn and has good adaptability in welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, etc.

What is the difference between DX53D+Z and DX51D+Z?
Material
- DX53D+Z: DX53D+Z zinc plating generally adopts DC03 or DC04 substrate.
- DX51D+Z: The galvanizing of DX51D+Z adopts DC01 substrate.
Features
- DX53D+Z: It has good appearance and good adaptability in welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, etc.
- DX51D+Z: The carbon content is small, the elongation is higher, and the stamping and ductility are general.
Market price
The price of galvanized sheet DX53D+Z is higher than that of galvanized sheet DX51D+Z.
Application industry
It is mainly used to manufacture various non-safety structural parts, various connecting parts and various mounting bracket parts for automobile bending deformation and simple stamping.
